The Ocqueteau 725 has an open plan wheelhouse and cabin with a seating area forward, helm seat with linear galley aft to starboard and a clever dinette which also converts to offer a forward facing bench seat or double berth. The galley has a sink concealed beneath the helm seat, front opening cool box and space for a stove, either a portable gas stove (included) or fitted spirit stove would work well. Good stowage is provided beneath berths, under the wheelhouse sole, at the galley and in various lockers. Separate heads compartment which can be fitted with a marine toilet and holding tank or used with a chemical toilet (included with this boat) and optional washbasin. A very large cockpit lazarette provides ample storage for fenders, warps and other deck gear. Excellent all-round visibility with glass windscreens for improved durability and performance. Sliding wheelhouse door to large aft cockpit with walk-thru transom, offering plenty of space for fishing or pleasant day cruising.
Ocqueteau 725 Timonier built by Ocqueteau SA in 2016. White GRP vacuum infusion moulded hull with grey styling stripe, superstructure and decks with non-slip surfaces. Wheel steering. Self draining aft cockpit with good stowage. Steps up to side decks and walk-thru transom.
The clever usage of vacuum infusion allows a superior strength to weight ratio over more traditional construction techniques, resulting in improved efficiency, performance and economy. As a direct result Ocqueteau are able to use smaller engines to achieve the same speeds as many competitors whilst returning great economy, or higher top speeds than usually possible depending on engine choice.
