Aluminium Seastrike (14ft, semi-vee) with manual 20HP 2-stroke Mariner Outboard - both built in 1996 but in excellent condition. Engine has just been serviced. Comes complete with galvanised trailer with winch, 2 rod holders, detachable and fold down cuddy and very comfortable, custom-made, full-width seat cushions. The boat has always been trailer-launched and kept under cover and the engine, which starts and runs perfectly, has been flushed after every use. Very quick, manouvrable boat which planes easily with this engine. More photos avaiable - just call me. Selling in order to upgrade to larger boat. Sensible offers considered.

14'' fishing boat with cuddy. Almost new 15hp Mercury four stroke with electric start and full remotes. Spare engine included (sea gull). Moored at Shamrock Quay Marina.
Boat was £1000, Mercury was £2500+, re-glassing and anti-fouling about £350 odd. Engine lock fitted.
This was my first boat that I've now had for 3 seasons. I've had it reglassed and the hull anti-fouled and painted. The engine has at most 50 hrs on it and I bought it from new. Cuddy is basic but comfortable - fallen asleep in it several times.
Ideal first boat - really easy to steer and strong - I've had four blokes on it with combined weight of about 45 stone!
Trailer included but I moor it as a tender berth which is cheap. Cheap to insure too.
White hull/Light blue top. Photos to follow. Make is probably CJL but boat must be 20 years old. No canvassers. £2500 ono. Cash only please. |

UBIN2 is a 25' 4" GRP Fast Fisher Cruiser with a good size cabin that can sleep 4 people. She has a Stainless steel sink and twin hob and grill - 25gl capacity stainless steel powered water supply.
Powered by a Volvo 130hp turbo diesel and 280 outdrive she cruises at 15knts and has a top speed of 20knts. Fitted with under deck 50-Gallon stainless steel fuel tank.
In excellent condition throughout and fitted with electric winch, ship to ship/shore radio, cassette radio, two colour fish finders, depth sounder and GPS. (Full computer based GPS system available by separate negotiation) Full navigation lights and internal/external lighting system, new window seals, spotlight, anchor, chain and warp.
The cockpit is fitted with a winter cover and will fish 3-4 anglers comfortably, with additional cabin and fore cabin facilities if required for the not so nice days at sea.

This is something of a ‘Tardis’. It is only 16ft so will fit in most garages but it has loads of cockpit space and a cabin you could sleep in too. The high freeboard makes it very safe and secure and would be ideal for taking children fishing.
The cockpit has been left uncluttered with storage for 4 made up rods and a totally flat deck. I have not added a pilots chair as these are often uncomfortable when fishing and unnecessary while in motion as you usually stand to steer. One could be added but why lose the deck space? I use folding camping chairs which are comfortable and can be positioned where you want. It will fish 2 in luxury, 4 in comfort and 6 if you are all friendly.
The 2 stroke electric start Mercury engine has been very reliable and has been serviced recently. This is the four cylinder model which is very sought after. Apparently the extra cylinder means there is 40hp at the prop as apposed to 40hp at the gear case making this engine nearer to a 50hp 3 cylinder engine. The engine is oil injected so no messy mixing and though not power tilt and trim is gas assisted so no trouble lifting up and down.
This boat is very clean and tidy just having undergone a complete refurbishment. The hull is original gel coat with no major repairs. However there are quite a few filled holes from various bits of equipment and repairs to the gel coat from small dings. Only proper gelcoat repair filler has been used and while these are not perfect, form a solid coating.
A trailer is included in the sale which is very roadworthy with good tyres and brand new hubs and bearings. It could do with a brush down and coat of paint but is sturdy. I would have no problem taking this on a long journey.
Everything to get going is included. I have a 7 month old baby and another on the way so won’t be going on any fishing trips for a while hence sale. This is the best boat I’ve owned and is a vast improvement over a small Shetland, Microplus or similar. If you need the full set up I have some rods and gear which I will include for the right price.
